Roblox is an online building game where you play with customizable blocks. Fight with rockets, ride trains, destroy skyscrapers, do practically whatever you want. Unlike most other games there aren't any pre-defined goals, you are given blocks and left to do whatever you want.
With your free account, you get a Character and a Place. You can customize your place however you want, and visit anyone else's place as well.
With over 500,000 players, there is plenty of creativity to go around. Every world is user-created, wildly ranging from MMOs, Paintball, Obstical Courses, Adventure maps and many, many more that can't fall into anything but their own category.
Code with Lua, the simple and easy-to-learn programming language, you can do practically whatever you cant think up. Several users have created great things, like trains, planes, cars, factories, tanks, police stations, rockets, the list goes on and on.
This game is a completely custom engine with constant updates, no outdated Torque, and no heavy system requirements.

Bottom Line: Best thing ever of free online simulation games. ROBLOX for me is the best thing ever to have come out of free, online, simulation games.
The gameplay deserves a 4 star. The editor gives you the power to build amazing maps, brick by brick. It also allows you to implement LUA at the same time. I find that pretty amazing how they could possibly put that much into it. I think graphics also deserve a 4. Each week I've seen their graphics improving, from improved anti-aliasing, to shadows. I'm not quite sure what replay value means. I'm guessing that it means if you want to play it again. I think that this is a game that never gets boring. There's so many possibilities. Now fun factor gets a 5. I find simulation games very fun, especially when you get to blow up towers with rocket launchers. Now you guys have to remember that ROBLOX is still growing. They update it pretty much every 2 weeks, each time making it better and better. Yes, lag can also be a problem, but that relies on other factors, as well. I want to also remind you that there are some Button-happy-8-year-olds playing, so the age kind of explains it. And finally, to go with the learning curve, I said it takes awhile. First of all, it took me about an hour to get the basics of the editor. Also, you either have to know some LUA or at least want know a little about scripting in general to be able to make custom scripts. That's the only reason it takes awhile to learn.
