Roblox is an online building game where you play with customizable blocks. Fight with rockets, ride trains, destroy skyscrapers, do practically whatever you want. Unlike most other games there aren't any pre-defined goals, you are given blocks and left to do whatever you want.
With your free account, you get a Character and a Place. You can customize your place however you want, and visit anyone else's place as well.
With over 500,000 players, there is plenty of creativity to go around. Every world is user-created, wildly ranging from MMOs, Paintball, Obstical Courses, Adventure maps and many, many more that can't fall into anything but their own category.
Code with Lua, the simple and easy-to-learn programming language, you can do practically whatever you cant think up. Several users have created great things, like trains, planes, cars, factories, tanks, police stations, rockets, the list goes on and on.
This game is a completely custom engine with constant updates, no outdated Torque, and no heavy system requirements.

Bottom Line: Not worth playing. Even though it features Lua, one of my favorite coding languages, it just is not worth playing. It is web-browser based, and runs very slow. The creators didn't spend much time working on the actual design of the game. However, I gave the graphics a 3/5 because it does have very nice physics. However, since I play a game called Blockland, we have also gotten a lot of spam on our forums, saying this is better, and they do not have any good reasons. Do not get this game.
I also have to STRONGLY agree with Sampapa about this. What WERE the devs thinking? Learning Curve: Takes a while
