the maingame is the best i like the cutscenes and the enimes that attack then its slow motion the mini game are fab i like the mini game boards(on party mode) every single one is diffent some of them suck the mini games help win the board game it takes a few secs to load the king looks and speaks like dr eggman

Sonic and the Secret Rings is my first Sonic Game since the Genesis/Mega Drive Era, and I have to admit: It's really nice.

It's kind of fun, just to speed through the levels avoiding obstacles, smashing down enemies by tilting your Wiimote, getting medals, finding secrets and such, although you can only control Sonic, no other companions.

It takes a couple of minutes (if not hours) to get used to the weird controls. For example moving backwards can be very hard t_T.

The solo mode is over after 8-13 hours. After 15 hours (in my case) I passed all additional levels. Yes there are still levels to play after beating the last boss.
You can easily play longer, because achieving the best time on every course, and getting every secret is a pretty hard job ;).

The Story is solid. Nothing special.

I find the mini games a really nice addition.
Most of the games have (sadly) a really screwy and annoying handling.
Nevertheless it's fun :D to play, but it can ofcourse not keep up, with real party games.
I find it very useless to have 3 different modes for playing these games. But whatever, you don't have to play all of them.

If you're a Sonic Fan from the old times, buy it.
Otherwise: It's hard to tell if it's worth the money. Test it at your IT Store to be sure.

Sonic's return to fame? Yes. After the horrible let down that was his next-gen debut Sonic travels to the world of Arabian Nights. Now he's on rails, got some cheesy music to head bang to, and has a genie friend. This is a simple game to play but difficult to master. There are now RPG elements with the acquisition of skills as players level up -these allow players to increase acceleration or effectiveness of breaking. The single-player is fantastic. Party-mode. Not so much. I still recommend this game for any Wii owner, besides Zelda it is the best title for the platform.

FINALLY, a 3D Sonic we can all be proud of.

Secret Rings brings the trademark speed Sonic is known for onto the Wii with a simple yet extremely effective control system.

It's by no means perfect, with some infuriatingly difficult moments, backtracking being slightly annoying and a frankly boring party mode but Secret Rings is still the best 3D Sonic since Sonic Adventure 2.
