Traffic Department 2192 was a largely overlooked action title released in 1994. The game was largely known for it's intricate (and sometimes mature) plot and characters, plus fast paced action.

The protagonist, Lt. Velasquez, is a rebellious pilot in the local police force, patrolling the streets in her hoverskid, keeping them clean of the invading Voltures. Players follow her as she bitterly - and sometimes violently - confronts those around her as she fights to avenge her father, killed by the Voltures when Velasquez was a child.

Gameplay is entirely a top down view over the players "hoverskid," offering full four-way exploration of the city.
