More about The Odyssey: Winds of Athena
In The Odyssey you have to guide ships through levels from their starting points to a goal, avoiding hazards such as cliffs and Cyclopes.
The basic control you have is not over the ships themselves, but over the currents of the waters they sail in. A simple drag through the water will create a current that will carry ships forward. There are further some cases where you will click to pick rocks out of the air (that the Cylopes will throw at your ships) and so on. With these simple controls you can create currents which will carry your ships to their goals.
In the beginning things are very straightforward, but the difficulty gets ramped up by the addition of Cyclops which will hurl rocks at yuor ships, and harpies which will pick up your ships, and more complex level layouts with cliffs and beaches on which your ships will get stranded, gates which have to be opened by touching sertain points with your ships, and pre-existing currents which will drag your ships away from their intended course.
The game has a little storyline based around Homer's Odyssey, divided over ten chapters, which together have over 50 levels.
