Thief 2: The Metal Age

On the streets and rooftops of a darkened city, where the forces of a corrupt sheriff loom, it takes someone with a soft touch and even softer step to stay ahead of the law. For a master thief like Garrett, the choices are clear: profit or perish. Thief II: The Metal Age expands on the smash-hit "first-person sneaker", Thief: The Dark Project, demanding a whole new level of stealth, strategy, and skill to survive.

Bottom Line: Play it!
Thief is not your typical FPS game. While you can kill everything in sight (if you feel the need), though that's not really the intent of the game. Trying to figure out a way to sneak around is quite a challenge.

The Good:
Thief 1,2,& 3 all have a great storyline, and its probably why I enjoyed the game so much. And I really enjoyed the cut-scenes.

the Bad:
While I still enjoy the games, their graphics (thief 1 & 2) aren't so hot (but unless your a graphics snob, can be overlooked) the shaders (or lack of) sometimes make it hard to tell exactly how exposed you are
their is a lightmeter that tells you, but kind of pulls you out of the fantasy for a minute)

The A.I. also isnt quite as sophisticated as you might hope, but again you should be able to overlook.
Learning Curve: Takes a while
