Transcendence is a 2D space combat game, you can destroy enemy bases and ships to collect loot, you can upgrade your ship with weapons,cargo expanders,rocket boosters,shields,and a whole lot more. Your main Objective is to make it to the Galactic core while trying to stay alive. The best part is that once you start a new game EVERYTHING is completely different. My explanation doesn't do this game justice,so just try it out. Its free, its fun,and it kills a load of time.
