Triptych

Triptych is a fast-paced physics based block dropping game that will keep you coming back for more. Maneuver and rotate blocks as they fall so that 3 or more of a color are adjacent to each other. By achieving this, the blocks will be destroyed and the player will collect points. As blocks are destroyed, connected blocks are freed to move independently and blocks above will fall to fill the empty spaces. Unlike other puzzle games, the game board is a living entity where the blocks obey the laws of physics. Every game is a unique experience!

Triptych may look a bit like Tetris (GB) at first, but the gameplay is very different. When a block drops, you aren't restricted to moving it from side to side, you can also freely move it up and down and rotate it as much as you want (actual rotation, not 90 degree turns) for a limited amount of time before the next block drops down. Movement is done with the arrow keys, and rotation with A and D, a player can also release a block early by pressing space.

You have to connect three or more blocks of the same colour, doing so energises them and makes them dissapear. Once the blocks are energised, you can move around the active block to touch even more blocks of the same colour for an extra bonus.

Triptych comes with four difficulty levels.
