This is a great casual game that you should simply not miss. The game is basically asteroids on ecstasy with explosive, multi-colored visuals and a great control setup. In Veck you will take on wave upon a multitude of vibrant, neon enemies in a very tight space. The visuals in this game are top notch with many different colors colliding with each other and lighting up the screen in varies blast of blues,reds, purples and so on. The controls are what makes this game (or breaks it depending on how you feel about USB pads) the game can be controlled with a keyboard (which is what I tried first) but the full effect of this game's dynamic controls are only experienced through a USB pad. With a dual analog pad the game allows you to use one joystick to aim your lasers in all directions and the other joystick to maneuver your ship around the many enemies you will face. The game-play is intense and very fast paced with lots of bright, neon explosions and twitch-style space-shooter reflex based play. This is a great casual game that should not be overlooked, go download it...c'mon it's free!
