Vespers3D
Vespers3D is Orange River Studio's first experiment into a new genre of computer gaming, 3D Interactive Fiction (3D/if). It is adapted from the text-based interactive fiction game Vespers, by Jason Devlin.
Vespers, the text IF game, won numerous awards in recent interactive fiction competitions, including first place at the 2005 IFComp and "Best Game" and "Best Writing" (among others) at the 2006 XYZZY awards. Now Jason has joined Orange River Studio in our attempt to bring Vespers to life in 3D, while maintaining the richness of the original text version.
You can play the online Java version of Vespers here.

I'd say you fit in with the developers, Jason. Great voice work, too, it really fits the character. Hopefully I'll have a better video (with better sound, too) to post in the near future.

It is I! The voice of Constantin! Does that make me a developer, or just a hard-core computer geek? Either way I will be watching this with great anticipation, and a credit card at the ready when the day arrives! Thanks again Mike.

Thanks, Clint! It's coming along. I'll update the screenshots with some newer ones soon. I haven't read that, but I've heard of it. I should definitely check it out.

looks great so far. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this, have you read the Doomsday Book by Connie Willis? really interesting involving the time of the plague and experiences around it.
