Warning Forever is a special shoot 'em up. Instead of flying around, dealing with hoards of enemies, and the occasional boss, it's just you, and the boss. And every time you beat the boss, it comes back, meaner than the time before.

The boss system in Warning Forever is quite interesting in that the boss evolves based on how you dealt with it the last time. If you shot off its weapons before destroying the core, it will come back with more armour, if you went straight for the core, it will have more weapons.
Another unusual thing about the game is the lack of lives, instead you have a counter continually counting down. If your ship gets destroyed you get a time penalty, and if you destroy a boss you get a time bonus. But no matter what you do, the clock keeps ticking, until you've run out of time at which point the game is over.
