WolfQuest

WolfQuest is an immersive 3D wildlife simulation game. Players start alone as a young wolf looking for a mate, or form a pack with friends online. Through trial and error, instinct, and experience, they learn hunt and survive. Although wolves are commonly thought of as highly efficient predators, it takes a lot of work to feed yourself. And even though wolves are very attached to their families, they can be ruthless toward wolves not in their pack.

These are the lessons learned in WolfQuest, which features elk, grizzly bears and coyotes, all inhabiting a detailed and accurate landscape in Yellowstone National Park.

The game combines exciting third-person gameplay and accurate science about wolf behavior and ecology. This is a learning game, but it's not a "serious game." Instead, it is seriously fun.

Built using Unity 3D, the Mac OSX-based game development IDE that "Just Works."

I DON'T like the game! It is too short, there is not much action, and the game is NOTHING like what the video showed. The game messes up once you find a mate! Your mate is supposed to stay with you, but he runs in the opposite direction! The range of territory is too small, there is no way to mark territory, raise pups, or anything but run around and interact! The game sucks.
