Important games to me

First computer game I remember playing, taught me that graphics don't make the game.

When we got our first pong console, my dad should have just tattooed "Geeks" upon our heads :-)

I will always remember this game, my father and I played for days straight through on a 4 day weekend. I feel that we bonded over a game at a time that I did not make getting along with me easy.

My first taste of Baldur's gate, but not my last.

My very first foray into MMO's. My son was a new born and I would hold him in my arms late at night feeding him his bottle and rocking while trying not to swear.....

Best game ever... or damn near. Caused me to become immersed in FPS games. Just the right does of realism mixed in with pure arcade action.

A Mod that made a believer out of me.

Second foray into MMO's. A game I have continued to play off and on since the start. The game is fun, but it is the people that have kept me. Our guild is still an active presence on the net in many games, I have met many real life friends through it. Some in person and some from TS and forums only, but I still count them as friends.
