2D Games that have rocked my world...

The best 2D game ever made. It's rare, but if you own a Xbox 360 that's connected to Live then you have no excuse for not owning this masterpice of gaming.

I love the pitter-patter of the tiny footsteps. Knytt Stories is sublime, haunting and pure.

One of the only Gameboy games I ever bought and one of the only Zelda games I have ever played. I have extremely fond memories of this game. Especially at the end when all the instruments play in unison....brought a tear to my eye, it did..

Sean Chan's ultra cool top-down RTS. Easily one of the best indie games I've come across. Updated frequently too.

I found Shuffle though the GGE. It's a game with marbles. If you haven't played it yet, do so now - you will not regret it.

Zombies + Guns = Pure awesomeness. I think everyone who's has played this has finished it. Sure it's short, but it's also just so damn additively playable.
