Some games I enjoy
A gamelist by Kasey LoomisHere are some of the games I've really enjoyed, believe me, there's waaaay more. My philosophy is, to make games you gotta play games and if there's a game out there I havn't play...
World of Warcraft
One of the many MMOs I've enjoyed over the years; however, I now spend more time on classes and so no longer play.
Warcraft 2
On of my first reeeallly enjoyable RTSs. Still remember having a blast LANing this game in my school's computer labs.
Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne
A wonderful addition to the series by Blizzard, really enjoy the tower defence games!
Dungeons and Dragons
DMing for this game really allows me to focus on the scenario creating and design aspects of my creativity. I've been playing since I was very young and creating worlds and DMing since before I could drive.
Paranoia
A quicker, dirtier, and crazier version of D&D, but with lasers and communists. It's a grand game that everyone should try at least once (:
Total Annihilation
Where Supreme Commander came from. A slightly underground favorite this game was way ahead of its time in many ways and brought a unique feel to the RTS genre when it came out.
Doom II
Ahh the classic. One of the first computer games I ever really played, along with wolfenstein 3D. woot!
Half-Life : Counter-Strike
A very, very well done FPS. The controls were great, the interface was smooth, and the gameplay was solid. I enjoyed the ability to play a game where the amount of health, armor, and the gun a player was weilding were not the determining factors of the game.
Half-Life
A refreshing change from the straightforward, run-and-gun FPSs. The quick bursts of combat followed by the tricky maneuvering were what made this game great. Also the mods, the mods were amazing.
Half-Life 2
The sequal. They brought back the wonderful enjoyment from the first and added a darker spin on the series. The ending could have been a little better though, very abrupt.
SimCity
One of my first Sim games~ There's nothing like creating your own world, and then smashing it with a giant lizard.
The Guardian Legend
A very old NES game, mostly unheard of, which combined aspects of a platformer/RPG with those of a scrolling shooter. Also VERY difficult. Overall, a long time favorite of mine.
Blaster Master
It was either this game or crystalis for this slot, but I really enjoy both equally.
Blaster Master had several innovative ideas for a side scroller and was the first game to really push me to attack without being hit.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
This 'simple' fighting game us much more than meets the eye. This game showed me what a well made game can really do.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
My personal favorite of the zelda series because the controls were solid and the gameplay depended on the player's skill.
