I'm 20 and I go to San Jose State University. My favorite PC game by far is Tribes 1 because of a few reasons. It pioneered first person shooters and by far is the best for team based play. To play the game you can't be horrible because it has such a tremendously large learning curve not found in ANY other games. T1 would be followed by Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, HL2, CS:S and finally Tribes 2. One of my biggest hobbies aside from gaming is Poker.

UVALan 8 Ownage
This YouTube video is from UVAan 8 aka "The Ocho". The person attempting to capture the flag is me "Adroit". The person that kills me was my team leader TerraForce. We can laugh about it now, in fact we had a good laugh about it then too. We lost the tournament but it was still a ton of fun =]

The best game ever made.
Had so much promise, was saved late in it's life by a member of the Tribes community: z0dd.
I beta tested this. It had so much promise and was a great game, it simply wasn't marketed due to the near simultaneous release of HL2.
Fun, at times...so many cheaters though.
I love this game.
I actually played the Desert Combat Mod. Tribal War fame was #3 on the ladder for a long while.
