| The funnest thing about this game was you could get into a Wasp or Jenner, run up to an Atlas or Mad Cat and they could not fire at you due to the size (their guns cannot pivot down to your level. Then just fire away at the knees and eventually... BOOM! Realistic to the series? Not so much. Fun to do over and over? OH yeah! | 1178906598 | |
| Forsaken was wicked fun! Too bad it was too easy to beat and had very few levels and ships. | 1178906293 | |
| If this game were given a graphic update that took advantage of new cards and NO other changes were made... it would PWN any game on the market today! | 1178884203 | |
| There were HUGE improvements over the original in this game. Units and maps were 3D, graphics were highly improved, mech customization was more streamlined, and missions were more varied and exciting. However, I found the later mission too difficult to keep coming back and I never completed the game. | 1178884040 | |
| This was the first venture into the strategy aspect of BattleTech on the PC and was an extremely welcome game! While the graphics were a bit dated even for the time, the game challenged you to rethink you mech choices and weapon loads with each mission. Very replayable! And the game editor added even more value! | 1178883915 | |
| The time span between 2 and 3 was so great, I was itching to grab this game. While it was extremely fun and highly playable, it lost a lot of the simulation feel and took a more 'actiony' playstyle. This was the first time you could pick up a gamepad and control a mech. Although it just didn't feel right.... fun though it was! | 1178883688 | |
| This was the single greatest time sink of my early PC days. I remember when the Platinum editions came out that took advantage of new graphic cards, I picked up a new graphics card AND the Plat version of each game in one day. It was hard to put this game down! | 1178883536 | |
| This was probably the best game in the series if you were a hardcore BT fan or simulation geek. It had a pretty good tutorial to get new players into the game and had a pretty good level of difficulty. Not to mention the graphics were mighty sweet. | 1178883348 |
