So i've joined the topsecret idol competition over at acclaim. I didn't receive a comfirmation email though but my account seems to be working. I've been brainstorming ideas for MMOG gameplay and i've come up with (what i think) are some interesting ideas for individualising the experience of playing a game where everyone does pretty much the same thing - disregarding specialisation specific quests.
I hope i get picked... but if i don't i suppose i've still got the ideas sitting in a pad on my desk. Don't even THINK about taking a peek in that note pad.... :)

So, i guess if you're looking here you're wondering what's special about me? Who am i and why did i join?

I'm currently finishing off a PhD in Chemistry and am hooked into all things related to gaming. I have several dreams with two of the most prominent being writing about/for games and designing/developing games.
Though i have no background in these industries i'm applying the old adage: You can't fail if you don't try.

So here i am with several feet in the door in various places, trying to find my place in the world whilst simultaneously developing the skills needed to advance in one way or another.
