A game is a game to play, not to win
I'm a Game Development Student from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
I enjoy playing games as I do making and designing them. Old-school vertical shooters/shoot'em ups, anything on the Wii, Music/Rhythm based games, and the Zelda series are my favorites. I respect the path that Nintendo has taken. Innovation and gameplay are key to a the success of the gaming industry. When graphics get to be too good then where do we go?
Art Side
Programs I've used and still learning are: Photoshop, Illustrator, UnrealEd, Maya, 3Ds Max, Flash, Torque BuilderProgramming Side
Languages I've programmed in and still learning are: C++, C#, Visual Basic, Java, DirextX, XNAOther Sides
Acid Pro, Sound Forge, AuditionI'm not a great or even much of a programmer and much prefer the art side of gaming.
I think it's wrong that only one company makes the game Monopoly
