We started as a small clan that played Tribes 2 - Renegades mod.

We were brought together by two players named "Chameleon" and "KillerP" to form a team called "Vicious Nasty Marauders" or [VeNM].

After a few losses and some wins on the TWL ladder we decided to go looking for some more talented players. We needed to strengthen the ranks in order to be a more competitve team. I often pubbed with a player named "ChiefRedCrow" of a clan "Calignious Medium" or |CM|.

After some long nights practicing the sniper armor with "CrC", I asked about getting the members of his small team led by "Oddecut" & "-Mr-Bojangles" to join our ranks. At first this did not succeed, but I managed to recruit several players from their team named "Bulldog" and "Silicon Demon" and they joined and played competively with us. This was only the beginning of the new team.

After a short while and some small victories on TWL our current Founder disappeared without a trace and left us with no forums, no server, no voice communications. Nothing. We still don't know what happened to "Chameleon" but oh well, life went on.

I quickly took the role as the temporary leader of the team, with the likes of "Gorn", "Ricks Barons Max", "BigGuns", "Nycto" and other key members. We decided to lead the team in a very democratic method, and then went on a recruiting rampage.

After some long and drawn out negotiations on leadership, team name, etc. We finally came to a conclusion that a team merger between "|CM|" and "[VeNM]" was not possible by just taking the name of one team or the other. Thus the clan of [D-C] was created.

"[D-C]" or "Denuo - Convena" is special to our team for a number of reasons.
1) a clan member by the name of "DeathEffect" thought it up.
2) It has a special latin meaning to us.

Denuo : anew, again, a second time, afresh. deorsum.
Convena : coming together; as subst., in plur., a concourse, assembled multitude.

So we once existed at www.dc-tribe.com and then the domain expired or was bought or something. So we came here.

Now with a full roster, and competing on TWL, we were now a big threat to the teams above us. With over 70 matches on multiple ladders, we had pretty decent record.

A come from behind win against a very good opponent. 3rd Generation
We squeaked by on the first round of three, and only had to win one more round. However, they quickly destroy our base assets and had us pinned to spawn armor, and were spawn camping us. Then there was a flag standoff. [D-C] already down 6-0 when the round was played to 7. "3rd Generation" decided to hold the flag and not cap it out and tried to play for a humilating score on us but spawn camping us for the remainder of the time. However, after a decision to spawn rush (attack their base in with whatever we could) we eventually gained the upper hand! With momentum in our favor, we came back and won the round 7-6 and with that the match, and the TWL Number 1 spot!!!
