I am a staff reviewer for Game Tunnel: The Independent Underground. I also blog about my own indie game development at GBGames' Blog.

I use Debian GNU/Linux as my main operating system, and my goal is to increase the number of games available for GNU/Linux in general.

Congratulations! I see Proximity is on Jay is Games!1208903355
I'd argue that it still counts. It works under GNU/Linux but requires drivers that can't be prepackaged with the OS. If I choose to install a driver, I don't think anyone can accuse me of doing anything illegal since the GPL doesn't cover what I choose to do with the software, just how I distribute it.1193783122
From the screenshots, it looks like a game of XPilot. Is it much different?1181059214
AngelicLiver: Heh, the music occasionally gets stuck my head!1179936662
Oh, wow, I would say this is a blast from the past, but I'm pretty sure I played it only a few months ago. 1179519091
Hah, I just found out about this game this morning. I was already running late for the day job, but somehow played through every, uh, hole. 1179506933
***As I am not making a profit from doing this and that it is made for myself and other fans there are no legal problems.*** Not to rain on the parade, but legally there are problems. What you're technically doing is violating trademark and copyright laws by making this, assuming it is unauthorized. I think reimplementing an engine like this is really cool and a great learning experience, but just know that "not making a profit" isn't a defense if you are distributing it illegally and someone decides to sue. Good luck, and I also chime in with Jomskylark on the "aw just for windows" sentiment. 1177349703
I love the fact that I can play it on my GNU/Linux system. Wine compatibility is great, although I did have to work with a No CD crack to prevent the game from thinking that I was using a profiler or something. Once it was working, though, it worked.1174329020
Linux, eh? Nice. B-)1171575172
I was interested in looking at the Forces source code, but the download link doesn't include source nor does the Wiki page actually link to source. There is a forum post, but I did not see a link to the source anywhere in it. Am I supposed to be registered on the forum to see it? 1171487630
