Gazza_N is an amateur game designer/programmer who also dabbles in 3D animation. He is an active (read: verbose and annoying) member of the South African Game.Dev community, and occasionally contributes to Dev.Mag, the community's monthly webzine. Having had no formal training in computer science or programming (although he has experimented with several languages), Gazza prefers to use tools and frameworks such as Game Maker and AGS to create his games. He does, however, aim to learn and understand all of the technical details behind game programming eventually, picking them up as he gains experience.
Gazza's design philosophy generally revolves around the combination of established gameplay mechanics to achieve new results.

I can do it! I will do it nine times!
A quick (and by no means complete) list of some of the games I loved.
A fine combination of FPS, RPG, and an absolutely brilliantly told story make this one o' my favourites.
Beautiful graphics and highly atmospheric environments, as well as solidly scripted action.
The entire series is a dream for people who just want to explore becautiful environments and solve mind-bending puzzles. Classic.
By far the best Myst game ever made.
Oldie, but a goodie. Great, action-packed mech sim that emphasises strategy along with frenzied blasting.
It's Worms. Need I say more?
Frantic gameplay, imaginative units, great interface... A worthy successor to C&C.
Atmosphere, sound design extraordinaire, a feeling of complete helplessness, smart enemies, bullet time. What else could you ask for?
