Games to play before you kick the bucket
How appropriate, you fight like a cow!
Its not quite such a new idea now, but it was miles ahead of audiosurf and all the others, and the art is just perfect really. a real gem... if you can get hold of it that is, but its worth it.
Its new, and I've added it to the list after playing only the beta, but first of all its really damn pretty, and also the gameplay suits whatever mood I'm in, and that is something special, even if its a simple idea.
Like Myst, this is all about the solitude and atmosphere for me, but the acrobatics are cool too, and the story has just the right touches of history and magic to it.
I think this game is one of the finest examples of how solitude and serenity can create a more powerful gaming experiance. there is just you in the game, so you can take it as seriously as you want, or if you are like me, you solve the puzzles just to see the sights of these beautiful worlds
This game is brilliant if only for the amount of emotions it takes you through on the journey that is playing it, and at every point in the game, it always feels like there is something more to experiance, and that something more will always mean something.
The story for this game is simple, and so is the concept, but it is pulled off so well, and with such skill that its one of the greatest rides I've had outside my own dreams and imagination.
Like the first, this game is great for its scale for one, but the truth is I like it because the kingdom hearts games are told so well that I care about characters who are famouse because its funny when they are hurt. to be able to take something normally comic, and use it in an epic, emotional story requires a great amount of skill to be believable.
There is no doubt the game is showing its age, and after many years of playing it I must admit the random battles are finally starting to bug me, but this makes the list because in my opinion, there has yet to be a better story told this centuary.
