Harlock Hero
I was invited to the GGE by my old comrade rinku, who I met in the OHRRPGCE development community many years ago. I openly admit that I will never be a great "game designer" because that's not exactly my ambition. Inventing superior gameplay systems (the core of game design, obviously) is not my forte; rather I'm just a visual artist and a writer who is sometimes interested in games when I feel that it's the best medium to present my theme for a particular work. I also work in comics, illustration, and have written a novel (working on the second).
My primary interest is "the greatness of humanity", and my interest in any other topic is usually contingent upon how I can relate it to that primary interest. The "sub-interests" that I'm most passionate about are aesthetics, manga and anime, philosophy, theology (though I'm an atheist), film, and psychology.
My biggest influences are Hayao Miyazaki, Osamu Tezuka, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Victor Hugo, Ayn Rand, Albert Camus, Yukio Mishima, David Lynch and J.D. Salinger. They've coloured my own work the most, I think, but there are tons of artists who I love to read/play/watch for leisure who might not be apparent by looking at my style.
My personal goal, in addition to becoming a great artist, is to one day have such self-control and such a finely developed personal philosophy that I can achieve "sainthood" (in the sense of Prince Myshkin, not Mother Teresa).
