My first interaction with a computer was the once-uber IBM 286 personal computer, loaded freshly with DOS-Shell, and a disk case my Dad loaded with shareware diskettes. Needless to say, my love of computers, programming, games, and game development all began around that time. I discovered QBasic on that trusty 286 after not long, and it wasn't much long after that that I began writing small text adventures.

Fast forward nine years into the future, and I'm still pushing out games year after year. The good times can only continue to roll. :)

I've been following this guy's journal since it was called HopeDagger's 6 Dagger of PacketLoss (or something like that).

Good luck on school and game development. :)
