Copy protection and DRM schemes have gone beyond pointless and now reside in the realm of the asinine. Corporations desperately need to redefine whom they see as their potential audience. Someone who hasn't the money to spend isn't one of your potential customers. Someone who refuses to spend their money isn't one of your potential customers. Someone who has the money and is willing to spend it isn't going to pirate.
...unless the pirated version is easier to use because some corporate numbercruncher insisted on crippling the product with a protection scheme.

Eschew obfuscation.
The ps3 offers Home which to me, kicks so much ass it hurts - and the wii offers mii's, and has the creativity and innovation of their wiimote (which I know isn't a 'new' idea, but the way they execute it is).
I just don't see any point owning a 360 when I have a pc, and all the games for the 360 are out on pc, even viva pinata is coming to the pc, and will be better (from what I heard) and that was the only game I liked on the 360!
Thanks for the comment btw! (and I don't hate the 360 as such, I just find it to be pointless and not really next gen).
