An independent game developer with an eminent Computer Science degree and no industry experience but a great deal of self-motivated research and experimentation. I've been playing games since forever and sincerely believe they can provide a valid and respectable position in nearly all aspects of life.

I'm working on some projects right now for school and for fun but I'd really like to be part of an organized, interesting game development project. I can program, though I'm no lead programmer, and can write music if needed. Contact me if you think you could use me.

Beyond the above, I'm also psyched about moving to New York post-graduation and either scoring a great job in games or a shit job and partying like its freakin' 2007. Sooo, if you are in NYC give me a job or tell me where I can bust a groove without the aid of ascending arrows. Seriously. Word.

Yeah luck plays a huge part in the game, but then again it also does in Magic: TG... But the game is intended for very short, simple play sessions: exactly what a Casual game should be. If you liked this also check out Oasis.1177018801
Ok comeon, this game isn't casual, free, or indie; it's Capcom for gad's sake. Though it is a great game. I remember it being pretty tough though.1175836333
Here is an in development remake I was briefly involved with called Project Xenocide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Xenocide The link the actualy dev site is on the right. I think they were planning on remaking the game in 3d and then adding a lot of new features after that, help out if you can; they need coders.1175836242

This game shouldn't be tagged as Casual. To familiarize yourself with the Casual game genre see the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casual_game1175210902

I agree, though I wouldn't go so far as to say YPP (puzzle pirates) is specifically non-violent. There's actually quite a bit of abstracted combat taking place such as firing cannons on enemy ships, sword fighting, and even brawling. The fact that Three Rings took these potentially violent actions and presented them in a way that is peaceful and almost non-aggressive while still retaining the inherit competitiveness of pirating is the impressive part. I mean, can you even imagine those little smiley lego-people body slamming each other?1175208981
