I think like most game coders who work in their spare time, I've got a lot of projects I've started but not finished for one reason or another.

I'm currently in the process of working on 2 projects, Guns Reloaded and CrashBlock, both in Pascal using the JediSDL framework.

I played this game last night, and I'm pleased to say that it's brilliant. It's asteroids and it doesn't hold back with the punches. There's a definite feeling of "Oh My Gaaad, that frikkin huge asteroid is gonna smash me!!!!" so you let loose a frenzy of firepower and smash it to smithereens. For me, this is what Asteroids is all about.1187043762
Just found out that Crashblock has won 1st place in the Pascal Game Development competition, including awards for Best Graphics and Best Newcomer... So I'm happy. As a result, Crashblock will be entered into the IGF.. Watch this space. 1186666373
Just to let people know that the work on Crashblock has not stalled, I'm still polishing the content, I have people doing extensive bug testing and I'm implementing a reliable and fair shareware system. I'm also revamping the main menu graphics to make them more intuitive after observing players interactions with the existing menu. I played the PGD version of this last night, I was extremely impressed. I didn't know the rules, but I was having far too much fun building things and knocking them down again. Keep up the good work :-)1181122355
Thanks for the comments guys and sorry for the late reply, I've been mega busy getting Crashblock ready for the final competition deadline, which has now passed.. just got to wait for the results now. Badazz, the game plays a little differently to standard Tetris, it's amazing what a simple change to the game mechanics can do.. the platform game element adds a level of tension to the game which I'd not experienced in Tetris before, it gives it a whole new feel. The game appears to be fun to play too, the guy working on the Mac build for me is addicted already. I'll let everyone who comments here know as soon as there is a public version released. 1180974267
I loved this game. It would be really cool if some movement was made on getting the O/S version working. Trouble seems to be getting hold of the episodes. Any info from Digital Tome about O/Sing the episodes too?1178225646
