Chris Matthias
Mostly a web apps XHTML/CSS guru... I've been looking into XNA with friends and am excited at how accessible this will be for me.
...rust in my brain...
Career Summary
I developed my first UI when I was 11 years old on a Renegade BBS system. At age 13 I was already fooling around with HTML and Photoshop. In fact, I convinced my parents to go with AOL when it first came out and they used a service called GNN (started by O'Reilly & Assoc. and sold to AOL) for internet access at the time. This afforded me 15mb of webspace per household account which was unheard of back then. And when GNN officially merged with AOL, they transferred my webspace as well. I was an AOL pimp serving up a site for teens featuring various sophomoric stories, movie scripts et all.
Today, I've stopped using WYSIWIG HTML editors for coding and its all by hand. I like to use Firefox and tools like Firebug to debug my CSS. I have a great degree of experience in print/graphic design software. I've worked in a print shop in the past and I am known to do logo/brand work every now and then, though I don't consider myself an artist... I'm more of a minimalist.
