I'm a .NET software developer and a games fanatic since I was a child. I love going out with friends, music, playing RPGs, watching films, and computers of course :)
Be the change you wanna see in this world

| I finished it on the 360 (friend's copy) until my new gaming pc arrives, but I've bought the PC version (I prefer keyboard + mouse to gamepad). While the enemies may look not so varied after some hours of playing, it is still a masterpiece of ambientation, visual effects, and overall "care taken designing it". The only problem I see is that either you have a high-end PC (or a 360) or you should directly not play it. the shadows, the water, the bloom and HDR effects... everything has to be seen to fully enjoy the atmosphere this game creates. Maybe the best "non pure FPS" I've played since Half-Life appeared. Definetly worth the buy Note: It's more like Deus Ex (or Half-Life) than like Quake or Far Cry. | 1189021028 | |
| Feels like an upgrade of the first... Not bad, but I just play multiplayer/skirmish battles. | 1181738215 | |
| This game is a masterpiece... Story is better than lot of films, the world seems real, the language, the technology it had when was released... A pity that the second part was stopped :( | 1175704769 | |
| I would give it a 5 point rating if the 360 version were not so expensive to buy. I like a lot the gameplay, ease of use and visuals... but developers tried to get too much money from a XBLA game. | 1175683126 | |
| I'm part of the development team, but I didn't created the engine (formerly it was called HADDD). It was released as opensource last year and renamed to Jad Engine. Now there's even a project branch devoted to creating a full scene-editor. The 1.1 version is coming in days (maybe tonight or tomorrow), and for the 1.2 version we're doing a massive internal code refactoring to make it plugin based. In the team there are people from Spain, USA and Germany. I'm a small apprentice compared to them... They're DirectX and 3D monsters :D But yes, the engine is quite complete, apart from the internal re-design, almost everything are new stuff and the engine is stable and fully working. | 1174241969 | |
| cheers, Eric! I had this game when I was a kid, quite fun. | 1173728945 | |
| Quite funny (getting drunk or farting and your enemies "hearing" it was hilarious), but very repetitive. | 1173727561 | |
| uhmmm Mixed feelings about this game... It has a fantastic game engine, cool physics, beautiful cell-shading and good control (excepting the aim-locking which sometimes locks on dead foes). It is very very fun to play, specially when you upgrade and start jumping matrix-style, throwing cars and vans, and shooting rockets from the air. But it's like a "GTA Cop edition"... You can just kill foes, do vehicle races and jump races. Nothing else :( I like it and I've almost finished it but it's a bit repetitive. I was hoping more variety on the missions. IMHO seems like the developers had to rush and made a great game but didn't throw in more variety and "side-missions". | 1173727096 | |
| ohhh One of the arcades that took my money when I was a child :) Quite fun playing with friends (up to 4 at once) | 1173726172 | |
| One of the all-time classics. Apart from being themed in Cthulhu, it is the first survival-horror game. Simple controls, cool story and frightening :) | 1173725996 |
