Career Summary
I moved to the UK with High hopes and called up for my first job, I quote (Company name has been changed).
Claire: Hi, Claire Blackshaw here I'm calling about the game programmers position you advertised.
Boss: Sorry we don't have any admin posts availible at the moment.
Needless to say I corrected him but yeah it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I tried to get a job for year but after getting to so many final stage interview and being turned down well between personal hurdles and UK xenophobia I decided I needed a UK degree sooooooo....
I am currently studying a BSC:Games Software Eng at Northumbria University, United Kingdom. I am working full time however to pay international student fees.
