Games I'm playing now(ish).
I like Kryll !!!
Playing co-op (again) with my little sister. She says school makes her want to kill things. I say, bring it on.
I hate random encounters! But I just have to see how it all turns out...
Missing: 100 (and counting) hours of my life.
The adventure game reduced to its most basic elements. Noble simplicity.
Every time I play this, I laugh.
My sister loves this game. And I love to play it with her.
Sometimes, cute is good.
I will get 1000 points in this game. Someday, somehow. I will! I will! I will!
Gaming Accomplishments
So, I really don't have a whole lot to brag about, but there are a few memories I reflect upon with satisfaction...
*I've beaten Super Mario Kart (won Gold in the Special Cup at 150cc). As a kid, I beat it as Mario; more recently, I beat it again as Donkey Kong Jr. Admittedly, I had my sister for backup that time.
*Finally surviving the hanger-bay section on the Truth and Reconciliation level of Halo: Combat Evolved--Legendary difficulty--playing co-op with DeathFromAbove.
*Entire nights spent playing Armada with DeathFromAbove and one of our high-school buddies. Being hardly able to move my left thumb the next day, due to the uncomfortable positioning of the Dreamcast controller's thumbstick.
*All of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: I was late getting into RPGs and it was my first and is my favorite.
*Beating Super Mario Bros. 2. (That game was hard!) My parents were out, and it was past my bedtime--so I shut off the TV (to save the screen) and left a note on it, to turn it back on when they got home. They did, and Dad took a photo of the credits screen (Mario sleeping - so apropos!) which we still have.
