Hi there! This is Moogie. :)
Besides the systems listed, I also own a Spectrum ZX, but for some reason (even though this is on the list) I can't seem to select it. Ah well.
I'm 21 years old from the United Kingdom. I've been a gamer pretty much all my life. I have interests in AI and programming, but have never seriously pursued those paths of knowledge. Instead, my speciality is in digital artwork.
I do commission work, concept art, and texture/skinning. Although I'm not skilled in 3D modelling, I do understand how textures and normal maps are applied via UV unwraps, and I have a great eye for detail (and a small obsession with pixel-perfection in everything I do).
I've played a huge variety of games over the years. Visuals and genre often don't matter when a game is simply fun to play. Having said this, I tend to browse the RPGs, Simulations, and Virtual Life libraries to find the kind of games I enjoy. But like I say, genre doesn't always matter; one of my favourite series has been the Legacy of Kain games for their fantastic character and plot development, and those are all action/puzzlers!

I can accept failure, but I cannot accept not trying.

Some of the games I've enjoyed playing over the years.
Ah, a relaxing citybuilder that works just as well as a sandbox. It feels great to create something so self-sufficient and then just sit back and watch it work.
An incredible plot is supported by many sidequests and a solid gameplay system, FF7 was my first RPG and I still consider it to be a masterpiece. It was a massive achievement for its time, and remains a classic to many people.
Though the gameplay becomes somewhat tedius, VIII was still a wonderful story with engaging characters. This was the first of the 'modern' era Final Fantasies, with a high technology/magic mix, and has some great moments.
A lengthy game if you play to collect and complete every item, sidequest, minigame and challenge. Open-ended customisation of character and Summon abilities creates many new ways to tackle boss fights, and the voice acting wasn't half bad, either.
From micromanaging villages, to growing and teaching a Creature, and then taking him online and battling other gods online. I spent many years playing this as "MadGod Moogle" and it was my first online community experience.
This game is evil; it sucks people in and doesn't let go without a fight. Unfortunately, I mean that in the worst possible way. Silkroad changes and destroys people, and people I once called friends turned into liars, cheaters, and botters.
It was the first game I experienced with such open-ended freedom, and I love it immensely.
A great improvement in terms of graphics and engine capabilities over its predecessor, but somehow it lacks the same... spirit. Mods add so much more to this game, and I enjoyed many weeks of play.
One cannot say Nox had the greatest plot or the most indepth character development. But the fun factor is undeniable. Despite being 2D, this game had physics such as gravity, line-of-sight and sliding/friction. Very fun.
The first in a wonderful series of Virtual Life/AI games. Though the graphics are outdated these days, they are still beautifully rendered, and the simplicity of the gameplay is a charm somewhat lost in later Creatures games.
Improved graphics and a much more interesting world over the original. Once you ignored the Norns' "wall-bumping" bug (that was never fully fixed, even by third party patches), you could have a lot of fun playing god with their lives.
My least favourite of the series, but still a great game. I didn't particularly like the graphics. Its Docking Station addon allowed players to share breeds and send creatures to eachother.
An early game experience for me. My favourite thing was to play as the Spider as the black and red ants were managed by the computer. I love games like this, where you can watch it just as easily as you can play it.
What a unique, fun game. Quite linear, but the tools at your disposal as a sneaky thief make the gameplay highly entertaining. Especially as you listen to the banter of townsfolk and the drunken guards.
More freedom and better graphics makes this game extremely good fun. Not quite as humorous as its predecessor, but any kleptomaniac will love collecting all the loot dotted around the City.
