20-year-old female, and Computer Engineering undergrad student at University of Campinas, Brazil. Currently on 4th year (out of 5), and working as programmer intern at TecToy Digital, a game porting studio. Has co-founded last year the Game Development and Research Group (GJ), a group of Computer Science/Engineering, Arts and Music students, who aim at becoming professional game developers. 2. The word uber comes from the German language. During the late 1990's, uber became a hip, trendy synonym for super; i.e. ubercool - supercool.

Career Summary

*Worked as Project Manager, Project Developer and Coordinator of Code Management at CONPEC, Junior Computing Enterprise at University of Campinas (Brazil), for a year.

*Worked on a High Performance Computing project as C++ programmer specialized in metaprogramming at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty on University of Campinas (Brazil). Work time: 5 months

*Worked as an intern for Microsoft at Microsoft Open Source Laboratory on University of Campinas(Brazil), as both Lab Administrator and C++/C# developer at a Windows-Linux interoperability project. Work time: 13 months

*Currently working as a BREW/OpenGL ES programmer intern at TecToy Digital, a game porting studio.

*Co-founded with fellow students, in July 2007, the Game Research and Development Group (http://www.lms.ic.unicamp.br/grupo.jogos) at University of Campinas. The group joins together students from Computer Engineering/Science and Arts with the purpose of providing them the opportunity to learn how to make games and work in teams, as well as stimulate game development in Brazil. Games made till now:

[iCoco] - 2nd place on the Games Festival at the Brazilian Symposia on Games and Digital Entertainment
[Recycle] - 1st place on the 2nd XNA Challenge Brazil; passed to semi-finals on the Imagine Cup competition
[Gariman] - 4th place on the 2nd XNA Challenge Brazil; also passed to semi-finals on the Imagine Cup competition. My first experience with 3D game development.
