Table-top gaming fan, favorite games are Settlers of Catan, War of the Ring, Bang!, 7 Ages, Frag and RoboRally, but own about 60.
PC-favorites: Civilization I, II and III, as well as SMAC (+expansion) and the ChampionShip Manager series. I'm also a big fan of the role-playing series "The Elder Scrolls" of Bethesda, having extensively played RedGuard, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion. Of these, I liked Daggerfall best. For nostalgia reasons I include Ports of Call, The Incredible Machine, Lemmings and Masters of Magic, having played these games a lot when I was younger (...and had more time).
Also played several textual muds as well as reached a commander level in Netrek. I stay away from WOW as I'm afraid it'll consume too much time.
Also own a Wii, which I traded my XBox 360 for (and very happy with it). Currently own Sports, Play, Zelda and Red Steel, planning to buy Rayman Raving Rabbits.
Big fan of Role-Playing. participated in Games of Werewolves The Apocalypse (several), GURPS, Middle Earth and D&D (several, 2nd and 3rd editions). Also DM'd D&D for a short period. Gamemastered a game of Vampire the Masquerade for 3.5 years, currently starting up a second chronicle.
As for books I like fantasy. Besides the everlasting LOTR, I'm especially fond of the 'Amber'-series of Zelazny and (the first three books of) the Wheel of Time series of Robert Jordan. Also own a lot of science-fiction, of which the foundation-series by Aasimov, and Dune by Herbert Duin (1st book only) really stand out.
I play guitar - acoustic as well as electric - though I don't get to practice so often anymore. So I would have to guess at my current skills. Also play Berimbau (instrument used at Capoeira) and Djembe.
Used to sport a lot, due to time pressure haven't been doing that a lot lately: Karate, Capoeira, Tennis, Badminton and Swimming (having several professional degrees in the last).
Currently spending a lot of time on VtM, the Wii and of course my lovely girlfriend. Also spending a lot of time preparing for fatherhood, expecting my first child in May 2007 :)
