It's refreshing to meet someone who still enjoys RPGs with focus more on the GP (puzzles) part than just the P (fighting/Leveling). There are so many different styles of artwork used in the 2D RPGs created from the dawn of graphical gaming to today. What are some of your favorite visual pieces?

Games I can think of off the top of my head which I found visually interesting are:

1) Bad Mojo (the roach game)
2) The Dark Eye
3) Wik
4) Geom
5) Grim Fandango

I'll try to edit this a bit later with actual links/pics plus a few more. There are a couple in my collection that I acquired strictly for their visual design but I can't think of their names right now and am on the road :)

If you like beautiful games, I think Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time takes the cake. Great enviromental effects.
