I am Tom Eastman - known to some as EastBeast314

I'm currently working at Wideload Games in Chicago, having recently graduated from Dartmouth College and an ex-intern and contractor for Garage Games. I've known for a long time that I want to make it big in the games industry. Programming's my thing, though I've done everything. Started with straight-up OpenGL and C++ but then realized that Torque does everything except the easy stuff for you!

Check the links for some of my articles/papers on the industry. I also wrote an entire educational TV show script for Discovery at one of my previous internships (I've done 5 now). I've also made commercial Flash games for them that I can't show because I don't own any rights (being an intern and all). Basically, I've worked hard and taken every opportunity I can find.

But I wouldn't have made it this far without FIRST Robotics, Fabian-Baber, Garage Games, and lots of awesome games that keep me inspired :)
