Torqued: Game Developer and Entrepreneur


My Name is Rodney Rindels. I spend the majority of my time hacking on one project or another. My Current project Tri Poker Plus is my own version of Three Card Poker. It incorporates alot of elements found in online casino versions. I tend to write games to test interfaces out. This particular game is being built because I needed a resusable state engine and basic rules engine to add to my code repository. One of these days I might link all this code up and write something much more serious, but I enjoy writing 2d simulations more than getting frustrated with projects I can't handle, or have the budgets to complete.

You can see that in the types of projects I've listed below. I believe that finishing a game, regardless of its quality is more important than trying to write the next multi million dollar blockbuster. My advice to anyone new to game programming. "Whatever you start, make it realistic in terms of capability, and finish it. Period."
