Well, it has been a while since I have updated my profile, my apologies.
I am freshly out of the Marine Corps, and enjoying civilian life. It's great to be free again, and I'm taking advantage of it to the fullest.
Most of my adventures can be seen on my website, Seize Life! Please take a look.
I'm currently editing the massive amount of video that I shot while in the Marines, and am slowly putting it online. As I write this I'm exporting a movie of us going up Mount Fuji in Japan. Next will be hours of Iraq footage.
I have reached a new understanding of how I should be living my life. It is time that America faces the reality that we, and nations like us, are consuming the world and then defecating all over it.
We have not been paying attention to the old saying "Don't shit where you eat."
It is unfortunate, but it isn't really our fault. This has been a problem for the last 10,000 years, only no one knew it until now. The civilizations that didn't practice the exploitation of the land were destroyed by those of us that did. As anyone who has played the Civ games knows, there is no way that a civilization that took its time and relaxed, allowing new technology to be designed in a sustainable way, could have survived against the machine that is us.
Now we face the consequences of our ancestors actions. It is not our fault, but we are left to deal with it. We must wrestle our eyes from the brainwashing device that is our televisions and look back to the past to understand how we can live on this Earth without destroying it in the process.
My website is chronicling the little steps I have been taking to make myself more sustainable. Hopefully it will be showing the movement of myself and my family and friends to a well designed eco-village. We shall see.

Now that it looks like this is going to be more than a practice project for me, I've been working out the structure of the whole thing. I think I'm ready to start coding it up in a more organized manner. Hopefully I'll get it right so it doesn't collapse under its own weight later on.

Well, that was months ago, back when I was in Okinawa. It is clawing at the back of my mind, trying to get a fair shake at my time. Unfortunately for the development of my game, there are so many other things that I have been doing and working on lately that it isn't even on the slate. Take a look at my adventures though, you'll like it.
