| This game rocks. Seriously addictive and great fun - you find yourself saying 'oh ok.. I'll play just one more game...' over and over at the end of each round. I've spent so many hours playing and creating mods for the game over the past couple of years - including of course building the community web site PTT. | Downloaded the demo yesterday evening.. great fun, nicely put together and fun music. It takes a little getting used to controlling the swing power and timing when you are aiming for a moving gap, but the controls generally are very intuitive. Though I kept accidentally bringing up the menu while readying myself to use one of the ball's special powers. (Perhaps that could be disabled mid stroke?) My only criticism is that one bad hole or unlucky bounce can ruin your entire game scorecard. Perhaps 'restart at the tee - for a penalty stroke' would be an effective option. I didn't get round to trying the 'safari' type games during the demo time limit - which incidentally seems a little short. I'm not a fan of the time limitation option for a demo anyway though. All in all, great fun. Easy to pick up, hard to put down. -Z- | 1164362073 |
