Skidding along
Development is cruising along given the circumstances: Financial quarter end and a whole bunch of new products rolling out, most of which I am involved in. I work on the game whenever I get a chance, but it's usually an hour or so a night. Settling on perhaps Python 2.4 and Pygame and PyOgl, just for the fact that this is a demo of what a larger game would be. The more ambitious game would end up using Python as a scripting language anyways.

Anyways... Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Beginnings
Winthrop is part of a larger effort. My friends and I used to entertain the concept of the game when we were more idealistic and less work-consumed youths. The idea is to create a maintainable game foundation for a series of mini-game episodes for the world that draws its inspirations from the Fallout and Shadowrun series. The technologies are currently being argued about, and I'm working on translating some design documentation into a transmittable format.
