Chris Cordle

As of now I consider myself a student of game development. It is my intention to complete a college degree in either computer science or game design. Right now, I am teaching myself the basics of C++ and developing an independent title using RPGToolkit.

I got my interest in game design when I was very young. Writing for video game websites from age 12 on...I've always been very passionate about the art form. At age 16 in 2001, I managed to sneak into an E3 show along with some friends at Nintendojo. It was an incredible experience! So glad I got to go before they scaled it down.

My favorite games include Marios, Zeldas, SimCity, Age of Empires, Wii Sports, and Chrono Trigger.

Career Summary

My career has been largely sales-based since I was 17. I sold mobile phones for just one year before I opened my own retail store at the age of 18. I quickly grew my business to three locations before selling two and closing one in 2005. From there, I worked real estate full time, however, recent months have forced me to return to mobile phones as a means to get by. My shaken plans have forced me to rethink my career. I've fallen back on the idea that I should do what I enjoy and what I'm passionate about: making games. My intention is to attend nearby Full Sail for their Bachelor's in Game Development program as soon as possible.
