Fermin Vicente
I'm a Spanish dev who has been into game development as a hobby since childhood. I think it's the ultimate expression of art... drawing, writing, designing interactive media.
Maybe not even half of the games I started have been finished (and I really did start quite a bunch), but I feel confident with all the experience I've acquired all these years, from success and from failure.
I'm mostly into 2D games, specially platformers.
If you want to know more, get in touch ;)

The path I chose
I've been developing freeware games since 1995 approx, in what later became a small indie studio called Unif Studios. I'm kind of the multirole developer, having touched almost anything from 3d design tools to sound edit, but what I do best -I think- is coding.
I've coded mostly in C/C++ but I try to use game dev-oriented languages to focus on the creative part.
Currently I feel very comfortable using Blitzmax as it fits all my needs perfectly and it's easy to switch from high to low level when needed. That's what I use nowadays for game development, and Fenix.
I use C++ at my job, working with CrystalSpace3D for an educational game project at the moment.
