Harold Pichol
Game developers, time to move forward!
I'm an audio designer/composer with a seven years experience in game audio. Multi instrumentist, sound recordist, sequencer wizard and synthesizer digger, I've worked for major publishers and developers like Vivendi Games, Atari and Ubisoft and am always looking for great projects.
In fact, I feel overwhelmed by people like Raph Koster, Will Wright, Warren Spector, Chris Hecker, Kim Swift, Jonathan Blow and Mak, Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Robin Hunicke and so on... These guys have the key. I'm dead tired of the game market right now, I want games for you know, people with culture and beliefs. I so want to challenge them.
I'm searching for making a team with people born and raised with the love of game mechanics and the love of pop culture. I want to join a team with a designer for each critical point of gamedev: Audio, Visual, Gameplay, Code and work from that. I can quite well fit the Audio position, I need help for the rest.
If you have this type of beliefs and I know we are not the majority, please contact me. I feel lonely.

Quote of teh day (via Idle Thumbs)
Splash Damage's Edward Stern said,
"There's a unique smell of game development... like an old ham sandwich or the reptile house. One time we called in the Air Conditioning company and it was stinking all the time. The repairman that came in said, 'I think it's your staff.'"
