Career in games dev so far

General whip cracker and ideas man. QC and testing are my bag and getting involved in interesting projects whenever i can.

My first foray into coding was to start a remake of Platman from the Amiga and it got quite far but other projects took over my time. Now its gonna be rewritten in PTK in the near future.

I wrote a fake Nintendo handheld simulator for one of the Retro Remakes forum mini compos. Was proud that it was 100% by myself and it worked bug free !! Oh, i suppose i should tell you what its called in case you fancy a peek. Shitcatcher (yes, it is called that!!) can be found on www.handheld.remakes.org

Been a long time supporter and helper to Edgar M Vigdal (he of Deluxe Galaga and Deluxe Pacman fame on the Amiga) due mainly to Warblade. Now i am a co-developer with him on 2 further games and will be co-developing many more in future...

Firstly Kastle Kumquat was made by us in the space of 3 months and i love it. A longtime favourite of mine and i think it turned out beautifully. It was released for free and did fairly well in the 2006 RR compo.

Now we have released Deluxe PocMon and have sold many copies of it so far. Nice to get some cash back for our efforts and hear that people really like it... more is planned for Deluxe PocMon very very soon and development on that is continuing.

2 other projects are already planned/started too. Warblade 2 is for the future and another remake is planned so i have plenty to keep me busy. while Edgar codes the profile system into DP i am heading up a fanmade sequel to Kastle Kumquat. Again, released for free when its ready.

So what else ? Well, i've also been involved in testing, gfx and/or ideas for many many other Retro Remakes projects. Far too many to list ;0) And anyway, i can't rememeber a lot of em and i'd hate to disappoint anyone by missing them out.

Futures looking bright. Just hope i have time to fit it all in.
