i learned to play mirror/lie on keys a few years ago, dont remember a note of it now =/

last year i met some incredible musicians, a drummer, keyboardist, and a bass player. these guys were dream theater freaks. but were to young to really make a go of it. but was very fun to jam these songs with them.

Don't I wish! Having said that, can I play parts of lots of their songs? Of course. But lately, Jordan has this bad habit of switching tones FREQUENTLY while playing with his pedal board. I still need to pick one up... LOL

Hmmm.... pretty much anything from Images and Words because that was when I first found out about them and became the major DT freak that I am today! =) And I really liked Octovarium too on the whole and the Live from Budokan video was really tasty (especially that long instrumental that pulled from many different songs throughout the years. If I had to start picking songs, I'm still a sucker for Pull Me Under, Take the Time, Wait for Sleep, Octovarium as well as the concept behind Six degrees of Inner Turbulence. Wow -- is that enough? =)

I agree totally. Bjorn is good people and was only looking out for the best interest of the community - and I commend him for that. Too bad we can't delete some posts sometimes, eh? =)

I might have over-reacted a bit. No hard feelings, I hope. :)

Wow... I never claimed anything as my own. I took verbiage that was passed on the wire that teamxbox picked up on (as did many other websites for the record) and added to it some comments from Nate Dog Ahearn at TXB to here so that the game could get additional exposure. I never copied the entire review from Nate (just a small blurb), nor did it reflect my rating of the game.

At the end of the day, I was part of the Outlaw Addicts scene from it's infancy and was one heck of an advocate for the games that Mike Tamarykin and company made at Hypnotix well before EA purchased them (I was an extremely active member on the Hypnotix forums and chatted with loads of people there - including the voice talent that made it into the games too).

Looks like some people get incensed and feel that there's pee in their Wheaties over the littlest things these days... Wow.
