Legolas Greenleaf
These are a few of my favorite games
Career Summary
In '01, I became curious in the development of games. At first, I tried StageCast Studio for a trial. Although it was very limited, I learned a few things. You could only place three objects though.
After the trial ran out, I googled again. This time I found Game Maker. I started out using it's Drag 'n Drop interface, but in '02 or so I began coding the games. I also began experimenting with HTML and registered Game Maker. I also joined the 'Game Maker Community' under the username of "Legolas710". Eventually they redid them, so I joined again in 2005.
In '05 or so, I began looking into other languages than GML (which I had become fluent in), and discovered Visual Basic .NET. I also bought Visual Studio 2005 Professional. That year, I also began some other languages; C, C++, and C#.
In 2006, I founded a great game developing team, now known as XSoft Games (www.xsoftgames.com). I decided that we would use Game Maker, as then we could prove it's real power. Currently we have about 27 members.
I continued learning some other languages, such as CSS (not exactly a language) and Javascript.
In the beginning of this year (2008), I bought Visual Studio 2008 Professional and redid my team's site.
