lost chauncy

The first video game I remember playing was Choplifter for the Commodore 64. What a memory; I was mesmerized. I was very young. Later, my dad bought us an Atari 2600 one weekend because it was raining at Disneyland and we had to cancel our trip. I'll never forget the frenzied rounds of Combat against my older brother and of course Pitfall - a game that no mere mortal could possibly beat. When I was a little older I managed to save up my money for the then greatest video game console ever created, the original Nintendo Entertainment System. From then on the rest is history. Since those golden days of Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda I've grown into a fairly loyal PC gamer with a penchant for RPGs, Strategy and Classic Adventures. Even now I tend to enjoy older games, which works out well since my PC still runs on steam power and vacuum tubes. At the same time however I do enjoy trying out the occasional "indie" title or Open Source game...which is probably what drew me to tGGE.
