Games which I have recently been playing or trying out.
Fascinating survival-focused graphical roguelike, based on living in the wilderness of Iron Age Finland and ancient Finnish folklore. Randomly generated world, animals, villages and all that good stuff. Extremely deep.
Currently giving this another try after a several month hiatus (I played for about a month at release). I am enjoying it and they appear to be fixing a lot of the issues - bugs are being squashed and performance is doing a lot better now. I only wish more people were playing - the player base is a bit sparse and the devs had to resort to server merges. No doubt this is due to the bad reputation it gained from its buggy launch. But it is the only truely next-gen MMORPG available right now - its depth and complexity are unmatched and the game world inspires awe with its immensity and visual beauty. It still has issues to be worked out and it needs more content overall, but I see it as a diamond in the rough. They probably should have waited another year or two to really polish it up but that can't be changed now. Well worth checking out as it stands now.
