I've been into games ever since I got a NES. As much as I love to play games, however, I have become increasingly fascinated in the technology and development process of the gaming industry to the point where I spend more time learning more about games than actually playing them.
My favourite kinds of games are FPS and RPG, though I also love games of other genres. I am primarily a PC gamer, but I do enjoy console games immensely, especially those on the old school consoles of my childhood.
I am currently a Computer Science student pursuing higher studies. Though I would like to work in the games industry, it isn't my only ambition in terms of career. I'd like to keep my interest in developing games as much as I can, and so I'd rather be doing it out of love than out of necessity. I have many ideas as far as game design is concerned, but don't quite yet have the skills needed to realise them, and so I haven't really entered the world of indie game development just yet. The industry is a fascinating, volatile scene, and I hope to take part in it in some way more substantial than a spectator.

BioShock
Out of all the games that I'm looking forward to, none excite me more than BioShock, the spiritual successor to System Shock 2 in the hands of Irrational Games.
